Thirty nine 1961 Old Boys gathered for a delightful lunch on Thursday, 23 June, in the Emery Room, Northbridge.  The group toured the facilities at Northbridge on a beautiful winter day, returning to the Emery Room for pre-lunch drinks.  Convener Philip Dawson welcomed guests and fellow convener David Robinson called on the 1961 Alumni to toast absent friends.

Unfortunately, fellow convener Ross Alexander was absent on the day as he was participating in the Royal Flying Doctor Outback car trek from Narrabri to Port Douglas.

Guest speaker Mark Ticehurst, Sportsmaster at Shore, provided an informative and entertaining update on the sports program.  Mark was extremely well received, with many asking questions of him at the conclusion of his presentation.

Rekindling school friendships was certainly the highlight of the 55 year reunion.
