Almost 100 Mitre Club members gathered for their Annual Christmas lunch in the Emery Room at Northbridge on Tuesday, 6 December.  The skies cleared mid-morning enabling pre-lunch drinks on A Ground, followed by a sit down Christmas themed menu.

Bon bons were popped, jokes shared and friends shared memories and camaraderie prior to the Headmaster, Dr Tim Wright, providing the gathering with an update on the school followed by an extensive Q&A session.

Karaoke style Christmas Carols were enjoyed with the entire group singing, followed by the School Song.

Arthur Dreverman (34) was the lucky door prize winner, and was presented with a copy of former Headmaster Robert Grant AM recently published book “AAGPS – Games to play out”.  This was particularly special as Arthur is the oldest Old Boy.

Special thanks to the organising committee:

John Sedgwick (57) Convener, Charlie Barnett (56), David Brownhill (53), Tim Holden (60), Tony Isaac (53), Mac Jacob (56), Adrian Lane (56), Graham Lewarne (54), David Nock (55), Rodney Northam (60), Warren Nutt (57), Peter Stevens (59), Mick Swinburn (54) and Andrew Warden (55), assisted by Alexandra Macaulay, Alumni Manager.
